Vancouver Tours

Vancouver is one of Canada's most beautiful and celebrated cities with all of its beautiful mountains and water. The tourism market is only growing for Vancouver as they are the host for the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in 2010. Vancouver is the largest city on Canada's west coast and their tourism comes mainly from recreational activities, so if you are a “outdoorsy” type of person you will love what Vancouver has available to you as a tourist. Likely Vancouver's most awe inspiring scene is the Rocky Mountains and how crisp and clear they look. Many people love to go on tours of the mountains, even if it is just a train or bus tour and not an up close and personal tour. If you do want something more up close and personal there are plenty of opportunities to either go hiking in the mountains or of course, skiing and snowboarding.

Another one of Vancouver's wonders is the beautiful ocean-front which allows you not only a beautiful scene, but also the chance to go whale watching. Whale watching is something that anyone at any age can enjoy. On these excursions you can often see not only whales but seals, sea lions, and other marine wildlife. Another excellent opportunity to see all the scenery, mountains, ocean, forests, everything, is to take a flying excursion for a day over all of Vancouver. These seaplane tours are especially popular as you get a different perspective on the mountains than most ever get the privilege to. Capilano suspension bridge is another big attraction in Vancouver. Suspended across Grouse Mountain the bridge offers a high height, daring walk between two mountain peaks high above a river below. A trip to Vancouver isn't complete until you have made it out to Whistler. Whistler is the joint host-city with Vancouver for the Olympic Games and features the best mountain ranges in Canada, possibly North America. Regardless of why you want to visit Vancouver, when you do be sure to check out all the wonders that mother nature has given Vancouver, because there is nowhere else in the world like it.
